Our Story
Westside Missionary Baptist Church
In 1957, James Watson started Westside Missionary Baptist Church as a mission of First Missionary Baptist Church in downtown Auburndale, FL. We welcomed Jeremy Wright as our new pastor on July 11, 2021. Eddie C. Wright, Jeremy's father, served as our previous pastor for 40 years. Jeremy has traveled the world with Eddie to spread the gospel as far as India, as well as Lakeland, FL. The church has been a part of Pastor Jeremy's life since he was born. In 2014, he was ordained as a minister after surrendering to preaching at 19 years old. Before attending a local pastor fellowship, Eddie C. Wright and Pastor Jeremy Wright are pictured.
